Vermont

Saturday we drove to Vermont to witness the changing of the leaves. It was a little early in the season here in Boston, but Vermont was absolutely beautiful. We decided to go visit Joseph Smith's birthplace in Sharon. Really the trip was just to enjoy the drive. Some of the views from the road were amazing, but it is hard to take a picture from the car, so all I got was Nick's profile.

This is a picture of the 3 of us in front of the memorial. (Kat is in the Bjorn)

This year Ali was not afraid to walk on the leaves, so that is a good sign of growing up. Last year, if her foot touched a leaf she would start to shake with fear. They should make a horror movie about how leaves attack, she would relate.

That is hilarious that Ali was scared to death of the leaves. (I know animals are different) That is like how Manzi is scared to death of a new perch in his cage. I live the last two pictures. Nick doesn´t look too pleased in the first one. He looks sarcastic.

I love, love, love New England in the fall. That looks like a fun family trip. The last year of med school seems to be suiting Nick quite well - he never would have had time to go before.
