10 months and more

 Jack turned 10 months!
He is a very happy boy,
and rascally.
This past weekend was Gaby's birthday. Happy 25th Gaby! We went down to San Diego to celebrate with family, but mostly we went for the carne asada.
I love how in this picture we are all talking to each other and socializing, but if you look in the background, Ali is alone, dancing with a ribbon.
Jack is teething, finally. He is whiny all the time, and super slobbery. I have to change his shirt many times each day.
He is so grumpy that often I get very frustrated with him. Then he sticks his tongue out like this and it always makes me smile.
I have started using pinterest. I have been documenting the hairstyles that I create for the girls. In order to do that I have to take their pictures. I think they are getting tired of it. I told Kat to turn around so I could take a picture of the back of her head. She just looked at me and said, "Mom!"
Just because. Kat loves this boy!

Random cuteness

Grandpa came to visit! Jack was a big fan. He just crawled up to Grandpa and sat in his lap, then helped himself to a bit of lanyard.
Grandpa reading to some sweet girls
One of the sweet girls, mouth holes and all.
Another sweet girl. She has such spunk!
Sweet girls, rascally boys. These guys are getting into everything!
I have resorted to makeshift barricades. Even if they are rascals, they are still super cute, so it is hard to ever be mad.

First Day of School!

This post is long past due, I know. It really isn't too much my fault though. Kat (to help me of course) slammed our laptop shut and it broke the internal video card. So... now we have a new computer. Here is what you missed in the interim:
Ali had her first day of school. She is such a great kid, and now she is a first grader!
Kat also had her first day of pre-school. She was very excited to start. She was so excited that when I asked her to stop outside the door to take a picture, she rolled her eyes and said (in a very exasperated way) "Okay." Then she immediately ran in without a glance backward.
Ali is such a great sister. She was busy that whole morning telling Kat what to look forward to in school. Kat started one day after Ali, so this is Ali's second day of school.
Jack loves water. Some babies sputter and cough and fight when you pour water over their head. This was Jack's reaction. I must say, he is cute.
I have been asked many times, "what color are his eyes;" you tell me.
Jack has started to crawl. He also happened to have croup when this video was taken. In addition, Kat had just mauled him, but at least it is a video of his capabilities. I promise to post a video of happy him crawling, and walking along furniture, but since he is napping right now I had to take advantage of my free time, and that is the only video I had so far.
