We are home now, and doing great. Katherine is a very sweet baby. She doesn't sleep for long hours like Alicia did, but she makes up for it in pure sweetness. She loves to cuddle and be loved, it makes us not want to ever put her down. Alicia is starting to get used to her little sister, but she is still struggling. Every time we tell her "no" for any reason she has been throwing tantrums. A little extra attention from Abuelita has really helped. Here are a few pictures from the last 2 days.

Alicia loves Katherine. She especially loves to rock her in the swing, but because of the vigorous rocking that always ensues from her rocking, we don't have any good pictures of that. Instead here is a picture of her holding the baby. She got pretty mad when I took Katherine away. She thinks Katherine is her baby. Which, of course, she is.
This is Katherine's first bath at home. She liked the warm water.

Oh so cute! Katherine is adorable! Congrats, congrats, congrats! That's so fabulous that Abuelita is there to help with Alicia - that can be a hard adjustment. My niece dumped her new sister out of her carseat and tried to wrench her arm out. Congrats again on Katherine!
Those are great pictures. It looks like you have such a happy family. I can't wait until I get to wake up every two hours for 8 months straight. Just kidding. The pictures really are cute. That is also great that Alicia loves her new little sis.
Can we get some stats on the new bambino (you know, size, when she was born)? I have yet to hear the nitty gritty (I've been meaning to call but my boards in in 8 days)...
