Birthday Party!
It has been too long since I last posted. Long enough to realize that I missed posting Ali's birthday party, which I really should not have done. We had lots of family drive far to make it; some came from San Diego and some from Bakersfield. I think it was a success, but maybe it was because it was my little girl who turned 4!
Does every 4 year old have this much attitude!?! She wanted to just go play, not stand here and just take a picture.
We had her party in this great indoor play space. Ali is up there at the top climbing her heart out.
Then she took a dip in the balls with her new boyfriend Calder, whom she informed us she is going to marry.
Then we had a little pizza, with some flirting!
Not everyone wanted to eat their pizza on the table.
And some didn't like the pizza much at all.
Then it was on to cake, Littlest Pet Shop, of course!
(Alicia did not like being the center of attention, especially when she had to blow out the candles, but she loved the cake.)
Then presents, all the kids crowded around for every present, it was kind of CRAZY how excited kids can be over these toys.
Post would not be complete without Ali's best friend, Kellie. And crazy thing is she really is Ali's best friend. It is pretty loco how much Ali loves her friend, (maybe the downturned eyes full of love may show a bit of how much she loves her.) I really believe that Kellie has made the transition from Boston to Manhattan Beach easy on Ali. She had lots of friends in Boston that she loved to play with and it was hard to leave, but Kellie made all that better. Plus she gave Ali a BARBIE!!!! How much better of a friend can you get?
