Cannot forget the baby

Well, I cannot really make a post without getting in at least one picture of the baby, so here are two. Alicia is really starting to like Kat, not just accept her. She asked to hold "Baby Kat" so I got the camera.

I find it amazing how different yet how similar my two girls are. They both have the exact same perfect eyebrows. What do you see similar or different?

Lots to catch up on

Lots of things can happen in one week. My sister came to visit and brought her 3 cute kids. We got to go to some fun parks, and to the zoo. We had fun and Ali got to know her cousins a little bit better. Ali had a hard time with the intrusion on her quieter lifestyle (Jen's boys are quite loud) but as the boys loved to make her laugh, she got used to them. She especially loved my niece Madeline, who would read books to her. Now that they are gone, Madeline is missed, the boys...not so much.

Once the house was quieter Alicia spread out her papers and did what she does best...she made her own mess.

And the answer is...

It really is a sad face. The truly funny part is that I asked Ali why he was sad, and she responded by saying, "He is sad because he has no eyebrows." I would be sad if I didn't have eyebrows too.

Hard Headed

This week, Steph's mom came. When I came home one night , I thought that my daughter had sustained a head injury. This is what I saw:



Apparently, her head was fine, she just liked the helmet as a fashion accessory. She was especially daring with this new helmet as this new video shows (complete with injury).



And because this is our post, here is the littlest Pulham. This is her Sunday best. For now, we are hoping that she does not develop her sister's eccentric fashion sense.

Mom visits me!

My mom came to help me for a couple days and it has been great. She loves the baby, and I dare anyone to hold Kat without having the urge to kiss her.

This is for anyone who wants to know what Kat really looks like. For about 85% of the day she is asleep and sweet. I know that in a month or so she will start to be awake more often, but for now I am just enjoying this stage.

Thumbalina!?!

After her bath, Kat was so mad that she found her thumb. It immediately soothed her. I don't normally encourage thumb sucking, as it is hard to take away the thumb when age appropriate, but she was so stinking cute that I let her suck while I got the camera.

When we got a zoo membership for our local zoo it came with some free carousel tickets, so this Saturday Nick, Kat and Ali got to go for a ride. This is Alicia's first carousel experience, and she loved it.

Obviously Nick loved it too. Kat is in the Bjorn and sleeping, but I think she liked it too.

Yesterday Ali woke up from her nap and, since we were sleeping/napping too, we did not hear her playing. When we found her this is how she looked. Clearly she had fun while we were knocked out. And...yes those are socks on her hands.
